SUMMARY:Through the Investor’s Eyes | Open Workshop & Community Get-Together
DESCRIPTION:What does it really take to convince a venture capitalist? Many founders focus on their product or technology\, but investors look through a different lens. This interactive workshop with Michael Mizrahi—a seasoned business developer\, analyst\, and innovation expert—dives deep into the VC mindset to help early-stage founders better prepare for investor meetings. \nWith extensive experience leading startup investments\, accelerators\, and venture capital initiatives\, Michael has worked with entrepreneurs across industries and countries. He brings practical insights on how investors evaluate opportunities and make funding decisions. In this session\, participants will explore: \n*Before the meeting: Which criteria and metrics shape the VC evaluation process? \n*During the pitch: What captures investor interest—and what raises red flags? \n*After the meeting: How do investors analyze startups and decide whether to invest? \nThe workshop concludes with a hands-on exercise\, where attendees review real startup pitch videos and apply the principles discussed to assess investment potential. \nOutcome By the end of the session\, participants will understand how to anticipate investor questions\, highlight the right strengths\, and address common concerns—gaining the tools to increase their chances of securing funding. \nWho Should Join? Students\, entrepreneurs\, professionals\, and anyone looking to sharpen their fundraising and pitching skills. \nDate & Time October 29\, 18:30 – 19:30\, Followed by community networking \nLocation: FS Entrepreneurship Centre\, Presidialbau\, 1st Floor \nPizza & beer are on us 😉 \nQuestions left? SUMMARY:Co-Founder Wanted 3.0 | FS x RWTH x hessian.AI
DESCRIPTION:“Just wrapped up an electrifying two-day event at the Frankfurt School Entrepreneurship Centre\, and the buzz is still in the air! Our aim was to fan the flames of innovation\, steering eager minds from mere ideas to standout pitch decks. \nWe witnessed the birth of 26 ideas\, from which the cream of the crop – the top six – were selected through a democratic voting process. Our committed jurors\, Jan Poblocki\, Isabell Schastok\, Valérie Soulier\, Maria Pennanen & Gowtham Athem 🌱🚀 awarded the top honours to the visionary team behind SEDA – an app dedicated to helping individuals suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS). \nCongratulations to the team Dr. Liubov Amusina and her team who have won an extended workshop about personality types with Mindclip®. \nLooking ahead\, we’re charged up about the potential ripple effect of this event.
