In Germany’s plumbing, heating and air-conditioning trade, a company can have more jobs than technicians one week and too little work a few weeks later. Kolleex lets these businesses help each other through the swings.A contractor with an available installer can offer them for a short assignment. Another books the help when a project, illness or busy period leaves its team short. The installer stays employed and insured by the original company. Kolleex prepares an agreement based on Germany’s AÜG rules, records the installer’s digital consent and handles invoices and payment. Company names stay hidden until both sides accept. The agreement also addresses a real concern for owner-managed businesses: neither side should approach the other’s customers or recruit its staff.There is no subscription or base fee. The company booking the installer pays Kolleex about ten percent, and only when an assignment goes ahead. Tradespeople already arrange this kind of help by phone. Kolleex lets them work with companies beyond their personal contacts.The platform is live, with launch planned for early Q4 2026 in Germany’s SHK sector. At first, Kolleex will concentrate on one region at a time. Other trades, including electrical contractors, come later. The immediate test is whether companies return after their first assignment.
