What does it really take to convince a venture capitalist? Many founders focus on their product or technology, but investors look through a different lens. This interactive workshop with Michael Mizrahi—a seasoned business developer, analyst, and innovation expert—dives deep into the VC mindset to help early-stage founders better prepare for investor meetings.
With extensive experience leading startup investments, accelerators, and venture capital initiatives, Michael has worked with entrepreneurs across industries and countries. He brings practical insights on how investors evaluate opportunities and make funding decisions. In this session, participants will explore:
*Before the meeting: Which criteria and metrics shape the VC evaluation process?
*During the pitch: What captures investor interest—and what raises red flags?
*After the meeting: How do investors analyze startups and decide whether to invest?
The workshop concludes with a hands-on exercise, where attendees review real startup pitch videos and apply the principles discussed to assess investment potential.
Outcome By the end of the session, participants will understand how to anticipate investor questions, highlight the right strengths, and address common concerns—gaining the tools to increase their chances of securing funding.
