Transforming adaptation finance for agribusinesses across Southeast Asia.
Adaptation Asia is building The Panra Fund, a pioneering climate adaptation vehicle that combines revenue-based financing with embedded resilience assets, rewarding smallholder farmers across Southeast Asia for restoring their ecosystems and building resilience. Operating across six Southeast Asian countries, the Fund deploys flexible debt into growth-stage agribusinesses serving smallholder farmers, with repayments tied to revenue performance rather than fixed schedules. In partnership with TerrAvant, a resilience-fintech and social enterprise, farm and ecosystem data is converted into digital Resilience Assets – science-backed assets that measure soil health, carbon, and biodiversity – creating new income streams for farmers and verified resilience outcomes for investors. Adaptation Asia has been selected as part of the 2026 Global Climate Finance Lab cohort.
